Post 100: Five years later!

Celebration time come on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No it’s not my birthday today but it sure feels like it having reached this blogging milestone!

Since June 2014 when I decided to share my sewing ramblings with you, I have now stumbled (after all the ups and downs) upon post 100. Can you believe it?

As you all know, my blogging has not be consistent but we can also agree that I have been persistent. Rhyming my way here. hahahaha. My growth is evident in how my sewing has evolved into entrepreneurship and creative work instead of just the joy of fabric shopping and quick makes.

I still do enjoy fabric shopping and quick makes by the way. 🙂

My creative work has grown over these years. Creating my own designs and continually learning has become a journey and a pleasure to serve others who purchase my pieces.

I am invested deeply in my craft – like for real invested. I read, I practice, I research, I journal, I plan, I make, I day dream, I advertise, I sell, I photograph, I budget, I model… the list goes on.

If you had said to me 10 years ago when I started sewing that I would be doing this now, I would have probably laughed in your face. Nervously! That doesn’t mean that I have it all figured out now. I haven’t!

I feel like the entrepreneur path chose me. So while I am figuring it out and creating, at the same time I want my blog to be a resource to customers, fans, family and friends where you get to know the behind-the-scenes, my motto, my drive, my person, my creative work process and the brand of Amshina as it evolves.
