Happy New Year & A picturesque end to a memorable 2019!

Happy New Year!

We are in a new decade! WOW!

I am so grateful for this past year and the end of this decade and all that has happened since. Words can’t express and clearly one blog post can’t capture it all. However, dare me to indulge in a bit of reflection and quick glance at some of the events and accomplishments of 2019 as I plan for 2020. 🙂

Truly I have seen my growth in blogging and with my business and I am so grateful that you have been a part of this past season. The season was not without its challenges but I earnestly look forward to sharing more of this with you in 2020.

As I move forward, I can’t help but reflect on the awesomeness of 2019 and what was achieved in my creativity. First off, I moved and created a new space in my new spot!!

I had more pop ups than I ever did in one year which included three out of town appearances. I travelled to NYC for a networking sewing bloggers event. I was able to get a blog collaboration opportunity with a UK fabric store as one of their international makers. I made more customers happy with my pieces in 2019 as well as attended my second annual Etsy Made in Canada Market.

In addition to the above, I did two special product photo shoot collaborations with creative photographers – one in Canada and the other one overseas during my travels. It was amazing and just writing about it gets me excited for this year ahead! Things I did not even plan happened in 2019 and I embrace 2020 with expectancy of even greater.

I would be lying if I said it was all smooth sailing. I had many challenges and moments when I wasn’t sure how it all would work out but patience, perseverance and doing the work was my approach and things worked out when they did and many lessons were learned when they didn’t.

All in all, I am still IN THIS and excited for another season to serve you with my handmade goodies and stories of how this is all unfolding.

Thank you all for being here and for supporting my vision by either being here on my blog, following the journey, supporting my business directly or just offering your words of encouragement and advice. I appreciate you and wish nothing but the best for you and yours as you enter this new decade!
