The right fabric can make or break the project… π¦
Taking time out to highlight my T shirt draft for my Husband. Β He loves a good T shirt. Especially when it doesn’t look like everybody else’s. We worked on this one together :), he provided ideas of how he wanted it and then I got to work..lol
While theΒ print fabric was a perfect knit, the black t shirt material was not the best.. It caused gaping in the neck at the back ( Look closely). This made sewing it up difficult. I had to rip it out :(…which made it worst…ahhh the sewing turmoil..

I was able to fix it but was not pleased overall. The fabric was too droopy for my liking…..So we agreed it will be a draft and not the real deal as it was the first try. π¦
Some tweaks to be made to the final draft but it looks great.. Fit is perfect.. Still working on the how to do a better neck for the shirts. I should have a few real ones done before summer is out.
For now this one will be a great house shirt π Especially since we have a long weekend in Canada!!
Have you tried T shirts before? Would love to get any tips on the neckline.
Thanks forΒ stopping by! Have a happy and safe Canada day to all my Canadians!
Until next time. Just keep sewing, just keep sewing, what do I do I sew sew sew sew….
Bless
UtaVZ
