After 2023, I am feeling inspired to show up in this space the way I would like to in 2024. You are probably thinking what has changed? Nothing much actually. I think I have just had time to think and know that this is something I would like to continue and that giving up is not an option. I also think there is so much more to explore with my brand that I would like to try and share.
I admit, I was totally missing from my blog here in 2023. As the folks are saying these days, “life was lifing”. It totally was. In between a move and a new job, I don’t believe I fully had a chance to wrap my head around the main ideas I had for Amshina and executing them.
Instead, I focused on slowly creating with the different opportunities I had through fabric/blog exchanges and pattern review opportunities in 2023. These opportunities I can safely say kept the creativity alive yet another year and I am super grateful to those two companies.
While I was not shouting Amshina from the rooftops, I did have one awesome event earlier this year in the community that was very promising for my business. Many of my pieces were sold and it was a great opportunity for me to talk about my business and reflect afterwards on my growth and where I would like to take things in the future.
I won’t wax poetic about all the things I want to do and have yet to do. Instead, without making any concrete out loud resolutions, I hope to show up here and take you through the journey in 2024.
