Thinking Spring thoughts… and Sewing..!

Hi Everyone!

Belated Easter greetings. I Trust you all had an amazing time with your family or however you chose to spend it. 🙂

It’s been a world wind of activities as usual. 🙂 A little sewing there, a little sewing here, a little reading here, a lot of grad school assignments there, a little of family here and life all together there.. lol.. You guys get the wave of events. 🙂

It’s a new season though! This causes me to reflect on the way forward and where I am at. Spring brings that happy and joyful feeling  about sunshine and flowers but also possibilities. Like the budding of the trees and roses, I am feeling the possibilities. Grad school has been crazy these past months. Assignments after assignments. I sewed in between.. but not as much or how I wanted to. 😦

I finally got a chance to do some creative sewing! Yayyy!!!! I was sewing in between… so it wasn’t complete withdrawal.hahaha. You know me, I make it happen! I am more referring to the creative moments where I can be present mentally and enjoy the process of sewing and creating a beautiful piece. So over Easter I did three pieces on Good Friday! I had my own self drafted patterns already and just had a creative moment.
I thoroughly enjoyed the process but also the finished looks.
